Well just saw this on the FAI web site that we are only getting 2000 tickets for the game which is not much of a shock really , but if the Czechs are beaten in Cardiff next month I am sure we will see a few more flying around .:ball:

Looks a nice compact stadium that will probably generate a cracking atmosphere...........just hope I'm on the INSIDE!!::eek:
Its a wed night game and we have a game in Slovakia the previous saturday so I suspect many travel agent packagers will choose the saturday game. Hopefully that we leave us with a good chance of getting tickets through our applications.
This will probably be the last accessible away of this campaign as I see little or chance of getting a ticket for Wales through the FAI as thousands will take weekend packages for that game and they will get tickets ahead of independent people as per usual.
Have booked everything for Denmark already as I know that I will get tickets for this game.

72,000 seats and both teams likely to be out of the running, I can't see a problem getting tickets. If we are in with a shout there might be a Munster-type invasion of Cardiff but even then it's highly unlikely that we could qualify on the night which would dilute a possibly cup-final aspect of the game.

I was referring to away end tickets only.

Wales haven't opened half of the stadium for most of their game afaik. I'd expect the 'away end' to be as big as required.

does any one know when the FAI send out the applications for september matches?

I e-mailed them to ask for the forms six weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet. They don't ever seem to acknowledge these e-mails but they've always sent me out the forms when I've asked before.

I haven't received a reply to my request either. You would think they should be sending out the forms fairly soon, bearing in mind they know what the formal allocation is!

I'm the same. Sent an email around 2 months ago.
The forms will be out in June, I was assured.
