was reading the article in Galway First on monday and it was saying that cousins had went over to lilleshal to the English FAs football academy. there awas loads of games going on between youngsters who had just been released by premiership clubs. cousins and 2 other members of staff were the only people over there from any eircom league teams. i think this is really good and it shows that TC isnt afraid to search far and wide for young players and hopefully this proves fruitful. one of the kids is supposed to be coming over to galway so that they can have a proper look at him in our environment. hopefully he's a good player

Are these youngsters both Irish and non-Irish or was it just lads who were released from clubs that will be coming back to Ireland?...

there is all nationalities there, some good young talent is always snapped up there by clubs from all divisions in england.

After the Brinias disaster, any untried players from outside the EL should
be given a three-month contract only. If they are impressive, or at the very
least not brutal, then they should be given a longer term contract.

Whats the deal with Brinias anyway. I presume he has a contract and we can't get rid of him as it would cost a bit. Can't see a line of clubs rushing to take him off our hands

there is some great talents there.the big championship sides snap up the best rejects from man utd, liverpool etc.but lower league english clubs and some scottish clubs can go there and pick up a decent player too.very surprised we were the only e.l side there but just shows how good tony and the board are.
