SHOUTS OF JOY AS RAMBLERS HEAD TO GLORY
There were great scenes of joy and celebration at the final whistle in St. Colman’s Park on Sunday last when the Ramblers came from a goal down to beat Galway and qualify for the promotion play-offs.
This was a fantastic achievement in the space of a year, coming from the indignity of having to apply for re-election to the league last year to reach the play-offs this season. It fully justifies Chairman Liam Amphlett and his committee’s progressive decision to appoint Dave Hill as player manager.
The games against Drogheda will give some indication on how far we have to go to being a premier team.
Whatever happens in these games we have made steady progress and let’s hope we will have Dave Hill as manager for the next couple of seasons to continue the improvement.
The Cobh Ramblers Committee, players and staff wish to thank our sponsors and supporters for their continued support during the past season.
We look forward to seeing you all in April for the start of the Summer soccer season. Dan Cronin

Puts the season in perspective, less than a year ago it was re-election... the improved results have been remarkable, can we go one better next season?
