Willie Walsh (ex Aer Lingus and now CEO of BA) was on the radio a few weeks back with David Norris on his Sunday morning program and he was announcing his and his families undying love of the Bohs. In today's world does Willie Walsh count as a Celeb ?

He'd probably fit right in with Bohs, given their anti union tradition that goes back to the 1913 Lockout. Next up Michael O'Leary?

You can see in Gerry's face that he wishes it was the other way around like in the good old days.

The whole 'we have more C-List celebrity fans than you' thread has come back a lot faster than usual ! Is this evidence of time compressing as you get older...?

Now - I just need to find a Harps fan to argue with over who wants to claim Dana, and then we can deem the thread complete and lock it... :D

Now, now Galway Hoop - if you check your calendar you'll see it's 2007, not 1907.

If we're celebrating having talentless popstars supporting our teams, then there should likewise be no problem with taking the pink pound/euro either....

Not much of a Rovers fan if he's appearing on a Bohs DVD wishing us well now is he? Unless theres a secret message when you play it backwards.

Ken Doherty's first Rovers game was the UEFA Cup win over Fram Reykjavik at Milltown in 1982.

BBC News had post-match interviews with fans leaving Old Trafford last night, and every one they intereviewed was Irish !!

I found it particularly amusing that they interviewed some fella with a thick boggy Tyrone accent, who even i could barely understand. Feck knows what the English watching the news thought of him... :D

Clive Tyldesly is famous for that - apparently some charity even started sponsoring him for how many times he could work it into the commentary.

Hamilton claims to be an Arsenal fan but, like everyone on RTE, it is in his best interest for an English club to progress through the competition. The panel love to moan about the "overrated" players in the Premiership but they would be lost without them - see last night
