Cool, if probably meaningless.
Link to FAI (http://www.fai.ie/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1949). We can't play in Belfield though.

How many teams do we need to go pop to get to use it?

None. It's for the Fair Play, obviously, in case we win.

I'd forgotten about the Fair Play. Probably more chance of three teams going pop though. :D

We have the nicest tea room in the league, fact. (Source - Irish Independent's league review a couple of years back). We could hang it on the wall there, along with the pictures of the soccer camps and the aforementioned newspaper clipping.

Good news, great to hear. Unlikely that we will get in the Fair Play draw though. Presume Dalymount would be used if we do manage to get lucky?

Ah Dmand We won the FAI Cup in Tolka , we played Everton at ''home'' in Tolka, we won the 1980/81 Leinster Senior Cup in Tolka... it has to be Tolka :D
P.S. Besides Shels could do with the rent ;)

Presumed Dalymount as that's where Drogs were last year, but forgot they would be playing on the same night if we do happen to get lucky. Tolka it would have to be then.

Also you have to be over 8 points to be included in the draw. Top 2/3 get in automatically too.

Top team gets into the first round automatically. Two teams are drawn from the rest who are over 8 points and they go into the first qualifying round. I think it's very unlikely that Ireland will get over 8 points at the moment.

Do UEFA allow this though? According to this (http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/calendar2007.html) they are all played on the one day.

eh.... Drogs play in Dalyer, UCD play away etcWe'd both be unseeded though, wouldn't we? And unseeded teams are supposed to play the first leg at home as far as I know.
They can switch. UEFA don't like 2 games in the one city on any goven match night

That will have to happen anyway if UCD get in because of Pats and Drogs having qualified.
