Can't believe they went with the Dundalk goal; Gallagher should have had a stronger fist to it.

What did Osam and Keely say about us, i missed it aswell

Keely was saying, how when he went up to manage you all the fans were on his back straight away. Also that you're a self praising bunch of Brits and should go back to the Irish League because you're play is on a par with Limavady and Ballymena.

Ozo was kinder and just said you were suffering a dip in form but that the pressure must surely be on Fenlon now.

Only showed the goals from 3 games, Derry, Galway & Bray. What's the story with never showing Longford?!?!

I see they messed up the First Division table at the end, giving four teams an extra game out of nowhere. Had us just one point clear instead of four...

I was wondering about that - I was thinking that maybe they could see into the future and Cobh will beat Dundalk this weekend! :)

Showing only half of the premier games is a joke.

Also why were Galway wearing their away strip at home?

Pats forgot their away kit........somebody said they were going to be fined for it.

Galway should have refused point blank , i remember someone doing that a few years ago and they were forced to wear the away kit, lads i know we say this league is a joke but in reality its a fuppin embaressment

A lot of teams try any means possible to cause hassle Pats knew well that that the kits clashed and by not having a second Galway were forced to change. I remember a game where we played Cork away and John Stacey forced us to wear Corks Away Strip.

We wore red, you came down with a wine jersey. You've just given an example of your team doing what you were giving out about pats doing  :p

Galway only took one strip to Cork for the live TV game and it was really hard to tell the teams apart on tv

Last season Cobh forgot their entire kit in Dundalk & had to wear our away strip against us. Was very funny.

Excellent choice for goal of the month for march !

It turns out they're actually going to award it to Galway Utd as their goalposts are a brighter shade of white and therefore look better on the telly.

So what did Keely really say?

Dr.Nightdub
11/04/2007, 9:50 PM
He didn't. Ozo launched into that Steelers' Wheel song "Stuck In The Middle With You":

There's something going wrong around here
What it is ain't exactly clear

and Keely just chipped in with the high-pitched "ee-ee-ee-ee" chorusy bit. Then they both chanted "Dodgy keeper" over the replays. ;)

Absolute ****e as per usual. Only showed the goals from Bohs Rovers. Quite an entertaining game imho, better than anything else that was on.

And on a personal note how come they showed Rovers every week last yr and not us this yr?

Do Shels video the game and provide the tape to TV3?

pat scully made sure they got tapes? i presume paying for video to be taken is a little lower down on the list of priorities now that you have to pay players.

We do, as far as I know. There's certainly someone with a camera in the press box most of the time.

However, there have been a few break-ins in the ground lately, and one report said TV equipment was completely destroyed (don't know anything about the specifics, but I assume it's not the camera, but whatever's in the press box for the camera man to use on the day), which would explain it. Local scumbags did several grand's worth of damage, robbed out training gear and did other stuff, and when they were caught by security, they couldn't be convicted because they were underage and not caught on CCTV.

So you're suggesting that to reduce embarrassing incidents in the league, Galway should have refused to play a match because their opponents didn't bring an away kit?

No im saying they should have refused to wear the away kit and insisted that Pats wear Galways away kit, seems abit unfair on galway is all

So the league is less of an embarrassment when a team is forced to wear the opposition's kit?

What happened wasn't ideal, but it seems to have been the best course of action.

It's hardly "unfair" to have to wear your away kit.

Shels had to wear one of Derry's outfits one time!

I remember that well, Ollie held the game up even longer because he didnt want our sponsor to be shown so someone had to go and get black tape to cover the sponsor. If i remember rightly is was the year Pizza played for you and got dogs abuse at the Brandy

I think it is unfair gives a bit of an advantage, but what was the pats kitman thinking getting on the bus to Galway , he must have known, there is presedent and it would have given some advantage to galway considering it was pats **** up

Pats away kit is more of a clash with galways home kit...

And I fail to see how the colour of jersey could be an advantage anywhere. Common sense attitude by Galway saw them wear their away strip. No big deal IMO (we wore our away kit at home to Portadown in the first setanta game)

Had the show recorded so I did a little experiment

Total Running Time: 38 minutes
Actual Game Footage: 7 mins 25 secs (give or take)

Of which

Derry vs. Cork: 2 mins 35 secs

Galway vs. Pats: 2 mins 33 secs

Bray vs. S'rock: 1 min 50 secs

Boh's vs. S'Rock: 27 seconds:eek:

Oh **** he knows about our aerodynamic home kit with its built in Nike faster and better player powers!!!!

Odd pats kitman was asked to bring both in case it clashed and OMFG!!!!!!11111 it did so we went with the home.....

Galway robbed us off another chance to play in the patselona gear without sponsor therefore should be made to make 50 bets with paddy power over the week as a fine.
