Can we bring anyone in on loan before the transfer window? thought we were very good on Friday until we reached the final third and would of got a result if we had a bit of presence up front. We badly need a few strikers. Seems to be a bit of a mess at the moment as no permanent manager to organise a few signings.

Pretty sure you can't make loan signings until the transfer window re-opens on July 1st.

What are the chances of McTiernan coming back?
I would say this is definatly in the mind of the MC who would i am sure love to see him back now that Rob is gone.
He surely would love to come back and play premier division football.

I thought the Lad always played with heart but Id have to agree with Rob on this one realisticly he was never premeirship quality or prolific enough up front.

Rob never said McT wasn't Premier League(it's not called the Premiership by the way;)) quality. He said he contacted McT and McT told him he no longer wanted to play for Rovers.

Everyone was talking about Paul McTiernan as a prolific goalscorer. Sorry, eight goals a season is not, for me, prolific.

I have to agree with rob. mct had a good weekend in June apart from that he only got 2 league goals which is pathetic if u ask me. mct will always be a hero for his commitment, effort & bravery but he has nowhere near the ability
of the rest of our squad and would not be worthy of a full-time contract with a premier division team. shame he played under don for so long cos i think he could have been a decent player with proper coaching.

Well be it the Premier or Premiership,he still not any better of a striker 8 goals is 8 and that not a good enough return.I think David O Dowd scored more than that so do we look for him also.As for what Rob brought in that doesnt justify bringing back Mc T.If we go on past season,Faz looks like he will match 8 so we as well staying with that.
