Drogs had 1 shot on goal all game and scored. We could have ahad a penalty, they broke up the other end and scored. Our defence and goalie thought Robinson was offside and all just stopped. Sickening to watch. Ah well....

Should have gotten a point, Drogs were nothing special, broke and scored, second half was all Longford but as always no end result.

Pats were clinical. The Galway defense made 1 mistake and were punished. Couldn't score from a mumber of half chances to force what would have been a deserved draw, but that seems to be the story of our season so far. Next week will be much more revealing.

Oh it certainly will! Battle of who has the most inept strikeforce.

Just back and have to say Galway certanly don't look as bad as there 1 point this season. Saints made to work hard for the win. Good play from Naylor & Quigly for the goal. Charles looks past it for you's.

Good luck to you's. Another good crowd at Terryland too. Great away support for Pats

Is it against the rules to eat a sandwich on the pitch during a match? If so, Bohs keeper should be heavily punished:eek:.

:D Are you serious? Class.

(Missed that; all the action was down the other end ;) )

:D Are you serious? Class.Yes, a Bohs sub came out of the tunnel during the second half with something in tin foil and walked over to the keeper and left it in his goal. A minute later(when the ball was up the other end) he goes into his goal and starts munching on it. Something like that could only happen in the LOI:D

Cue of a roar from the keeper " I didnt want brown sauce!"

Only in the Eircom League. You just don't get these quality anecdotes in the Premier League. Brilliant :D

A mush better anecdote than the Drogheda player who took a **** at the side of the pitch in front of the stand at the Brandywell a few seasons back.

Shameful behaviour of the highest order...

was the same a few seasons back in the showgrounds, an athlone player (i think) knelt down and took a p!!s in front of the stand

I remember Robbie Martin doing the same up in the Brandywell (although I think he went into the abandoned asbestos stand, and I think he had a companion having a p!ss too...
