ITT Dublin is currently developing a Women’s Soccer programme which will commence in September 2007 for the 2007/2008 academic year. In order to facilitate this programme, ITT Dublin is seeking to encourage current female Leaving Certificate students to consider ITT Dublin for their further education and participate in this new programme.

Research has shown that extra curricular activities such as sport can greatly assist in student retention in third level in Ireland, and it is our intention to provide a quality Women’s Soccer programme to students while also allowing them to further their education.

ITT Dublin offer a range of programmes at Higher Certificate, Degree and Honours Degree in Arts, Marketing, Management, Accountancy, Computing, Engineering, Science, European Studies and professional cookery. Full details on each of the academic courses can be obtained from the Institute website www.ittdublin.ie

It is extremely important to note that all applications for sports scholarships must satisfy the academic criteria for entry to ITT Dublin and must apply to the CAO in the usual manner.

There will be an open trial for all interested current Leaving Certificate students which will be held in Pearce Park, Crumlin from 7pm – 9pm on Wednesday, 2nd May 2007.

As part of this programme there will be a number of sports scholarships available to students who excel at this trial.

All interested women should contact the manager, Breifne Earley, prior to Friday 27th April. Breifne can be contacted at (086) 8218854 or breifne@cusai.ie
