What kind of threads are meant to go in here?
Apart from the sub-forums of course.

Community forums are kind of trial forums, if they get any way big they'd be moved into the main sections somewhere.

Will the Cobh Ramblers forum go in here like the Kilkenny City one has? I think an exception could be made as the Cobh forum has a lot of activity - stick them in as a sub forum on the A Championship section perhaps? It'll be a lot easier to find that way..

Thats a good idea actually, its would be prominent place for them and would give people more of a reason to check out the A Championship forum.
