Hi Folks

Does anyone know what dates and where the Ireland team will be training in the build up to the match this week ?
The kid is off school for a few days towards the weekend and was thinking of bringing him along to watch them train and get him a few autographs if possible ?
Can anyone tell me when they will train and if the public is allowed in to watch ?

Also is it possible to go and watch the Wales team train ? I can bring him to that and get a few autographs as well

cheers

Croker will host the team on Tuesday, can't see it being an open session though........

The team usually train in Malahide United's pitch which is located on the coast road between Malahide and Portmarnock, near the Robswall development. The pitch is a little back from the road so if you're not familiar with the area just give yourself a little time to find it (and be careful driving on that road). They usually train around 11 - 11.30 (starting time) :)

Staunton's Irish squad to train at Croker
20/03/2007 - 08:32:45

The Irish soccer squad is due to walk out onto the turf at Croke Park today for the first time.

Steve Staunton's players will be in GAA HQ for a training session ahead of Saturday's Euro 2008 qualifier against Wales.

The Irish need to win the game to maintain their slim chance of qualification and will be hoping to put on a decent performance in their first-ever game at the historic stadium.

Best bet is ring the FAI and get put through to the press officer. They'll tell you.
