my team is
goughie
james charles nootimer tracey
cooke foley lester murphy
armstrong o.flynn.

i really dont think derek is up to this level as reguards delivering crosses etc which is what our strikers need.with foley in the centre it gives lester the freedom to attack more.despite drogs scoring 3 on friday they are a very boring team to watch and i dont expect many goals on friday because we have yet to score also.

Spot on Eamo. Now is the time to go for it. We have the edge over the Drogs as TC knows them fairly well. DOB looks good on the runs but he needs to cross earlier rather than waste it. maybe a rest will do him well. I feel three points comin on on friday.:)

but muprhy is right footed, he wont be able to put in crosses from the left either !!!!

Id go with the same team that played against cork except I would play murphy more forward, playing in between Armstrong and midfield in a 4-4-1-1 style of play.

Gough/Rogers
Collie--Reggie--Wesley--Treacy
Russell--Lester--Foley--O'Brien
-----------Murphy--------------
-----------O'Flynn--------------

with the 2 lads on the wings, i'd change them during the course of the game to see if derek could have any joy on our right. i think that if he was on the right then he could beat his man and get a cross in straight away with his good foot. playing on the left wing he always cuts back to get onto his right foot which can greatly slow up the pace of an attack
