I heard that L37 have signed ex Galway United forward David Goldby. He famously scored a goal in the Showgrounds a few years ago that relegated Sligo Rovers.

Nigel Keady is supposed to have declined the opportunity to join L37 due to work commitments. He also turned Athlone down.

Goldbey looks the part I must say early days but from what I've seen I'm surprised he didn't feature more for Galway last season

Are you sure about Nigel?? He started up in Longford last Saturday. Would be a bit gutted if he hadn't signed as he looked like he could do a job (plus we're wafer thin squad wise)

Have to say I hope Dave does well too.
I used to play up front with him at U-18 level and he's a good finisher and has pace. Think if he gets a regular spot he'll score goals in the First Division.

the reason he didnt feature was because he is crap, he left us mid season because he couldnt get on our bench. although nigel KEady could be a good addition for ye

PM'ed some of the less hormonally challenged Galway lads and they reckoned he could do a job. Having seen him play 3 times myself I reckon he can do a job. Now granted he wouldn't have got in our team last year but needs must and all that

BTW just so you know for the next time your feeling worried about my blood pressure  indicates that I couldn't give a tinkers curse what your opinion is as oppossed to :( or  which would indicate some upset on my part

But you nedn't worry about either of those in relation to anything you write

Still not great at it Conor

It's a long road

Don't get complacent. There's no Nick Leeson waiting to bail you out of this one. This is something you have to achive all by yourself :p
