thats it alright, saw it on a teamsheet for 1 of the friendlys.

it's kinda hard to read so blue banner on bottom says "Play the beautiful game", and the writing around the logo in the centre says "Life's short. Work hard. Play hard".

the logo in the centre says "Life's short. Work hard. Play hard".

Which is also the logo for Wallace construction - early days but I'd be a little wary of another one-man club so soon after Seery's ego trip.

Same here on the one-man club thing.

Recipe for disaster.

I think anyone that knows Mick would be pretty confident that this "one-man club thing" is not going to be much of a problem in our case.

Fair enough, he'll do things his own way - but he's being doing this for years with underage teams in Wexford, always getting the best out of them.

Bit crap really, its just his business' logo rejigged, isn't it? And you have to earn stars over the crest so they'll have to go too

What did Man City (http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/tickets/badges/mancity.gif) do to earn their three stars?

I'm guessing the 2 stars on the Wexford crest refer to the 2 times we've won the FAI Youth Interleague competition - in 2000 and 2005. And sure isn't Mick an avid follower of Juventus (http://image.guardian.co.uk/sys-images/Football/Clubs/Crest/2003/11/04/juventus_c.gif). Each of their 2 stars represent 10 league titles.

They don't deserve to have any stars as they're a new club. Load of bull if you ask me.......

There's no stars earned in Ireland. Anyone who has a star over their crest decided to do it themselves...

Juventus one the champions league twice, man city were just dercorating their crest.

stars are only for world cups(for countries) and champions leagues(for clubs), but there is no law. I would like to see a loi team getting two stars but I have a feeling we might be waiting for a while...

It's semi official that in Italy you earn a star for every 10 championships you win. Don't think it refers to CL wins.

Its not semi official, its official in Italy. 10 league wins earns you a star. Others have adapted it since. Worst being in Scotland with 5 stars above Rangers crest (for 50 titles), 2 stars above Aberdeen's crest (for their 2 european trophies, one of which was the fecking Super Cup!) and Celtic having a "platinum" star abve their crest for their one european cup.

Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer tries to straighten Bart out but takes him to a factory, whose occupants' - all of whom are gay - motto was 'we like to work hard and then play hard'. Cue: stripping and dancing etc. :D

Suspected as much, which is why I was annoyed that they have our crest over 4 years out of date
