Jim Roddy was there so Derry had someone there (he very kindly carried my bag to my car for me!)
Anyways Jebus its not a case "buttering up the FAI" its a chance for the press to meet & interview all the main people involved and promote the league. If they didnt do it you would be moaning about the lack of promotion of the league!

I don't know why Fenlon wasn't there, but as others have said its bad form.
