the bad thing about the matchs televised is the time!. going to them is fine been part of it sacrificing your friday night you'll have a better time but televised most people want there beer on friday and would be heading out at that time!. would be nice to revert to saturdays again even with the summer football.... how often is there a good televised prem' match on saturday at 3pm??.. never.... united vs. watford, fulham etc.....

i'm sure you would find a couple of galway pubs who would show the game. foxes would definitely show it seeing as they are the galway united fans pub

From what i heard at the Table Quiz, Becketts is the new Galway United official pub. Presume Harris has that one as well.

Becketts is the official GUFC after match pub.
A lot of supporters will probably keep going to Foxs. We are a big club,
we can keep two pubs going !

Think Foxes is a great venue to go to before the games, especially during the summer months when its sunny and you can have a bit of banter with the away fans...one of last years Shamrock Rovers games springs to mind (and the football).
The fact that there may be a lot more away fans coming to Galway this year and Foxes location on the square would also make match days more visible if a carnival atmosphere was created every second Friday evening on the square.
Also, it would probably be the first port of call for all the away fans being beside the station.
