Rules
1) No linking to any sites with your refereral code
2) No linking to any affiliate programs/sites
3) No making fun of losing tips/selections. We've all lost bets, we'll all do it again
4) No aftertiming. Ever. If you dind't post up the tip before it won, don't bother telling us about it now

Best Practice
1) Try give a bit of reasoning behind any selection.
2) If making a selection try and post the odds.
3) Use a staking system (i.e. for selections you think are definite winners, advise to back with 5 points; for speculative punts advise 0.5 or 1 point etc)

There'll be others but these are the main ones to start with

no after-eventing is a rule on most betting forums.

What does that mean?

sorry should have said. Basically it means telling about your winning bets after they have won even though you didnt post them up before the event.

Very irritating to those reading and serves no purpose.

Very irritating to those reading and serves no purpose.I personally think that's a stupid rule.

well it doesnt add to the quality of the betting forum if its just a case of people boasting off the cuff about how much they won.

Maybe it doesnt apply here but on some gambling forums I visit you'll have someone post a tip before the match, it promptly loses and then they come back with "lucky for me I placed a first goalscorer bet on X just before the game and ended up overall €700 in profit"

Is after-eventing of losing bets allowed?

As I would like to share with the world how I blew a truly sickening hole in my betting bank by backing Cork-1 in-running when it looked like they would stick 8 past Dungannon.

I think the after bet rule is stupid its a betting forum to talk about betting not a tips forum, Fine if the forum was cluttered up with posts but its so quite in here its the same small few people that seem to post here and at the moment. And if your leaving tips for people there is no harm in them knowing that you win on ocassions before lumping on their money.
