We beat QUB 5-2 today. Into the semis, to face Magee/UCC/RCSI.

Probably UCC. WHo've beaten us in the last three finals, I think.

What day and what time is the final on?

3 March I think? There's a thread in the el general forum linking in an FAI website article.

The final is usually held on a Friday afternoon folks. RCSI usually have a lap of honour when they win a corner. Due to their hectic study schedule they only enter the Collingwood and traditionally have never fielded teams in any of the Universities/College League based competitions.

Last, Brophy and Harte scored in the 5-2 anyway. That's all I know.

Well done to the College lads on finally bringing our Cup home.
This Cup win, coupled with our recent Universities triumphs, was our 41st overall since 1914 and our first this century, and our first for 13 years. I am reminded that when we won in 1994 we went on to win three trophies the following season at Senior level. Now three might be greedy this time around but 1 would do :D

The old saying of always being the bridesmaid and never the bride is beginning to ring dangerously true for the men from the north coast - this was the third time in four years they had reached the final and lost.
I thought the last three finals were UCC beating us?
