...today's Irish Times carries this:

"After three years as manager Tommy Lynch has decided to call it a day with first division Limerick FC. Lynch met with club officials and was unhappy with the terms offered to him for next season. He claimed that his wages had been cut in half and he had been told there was a weekly budget of £400 for players’ wages."

£400 a week? For even a panel of 16 players that's just £25 'wages' each. Little wonder Limerick football at senior level is in the doldrums while junior football in the City is thriving.

Any Limerick fans out there wanna give us the gen on what's happening at Hogan Park? Is the club knackered?
