Cheers, a bit worried about all these defeats, should we not have played a couple of leinster senior league teams as well to try and get a couple of wins or even goals!!

I think we are playing Bray behind closed doors over the weekend.

I agree we should have ended off the season against a team we are better than, but then again that wouldn't improve the team would it? We have played well in most games but struggles with goals. The defensive mishaps and OGs were a result of the defenders not playing together for a few months. Hopefully all those OGs are out of our system now!

I don't think the preseason can be taken as a reflection of what is to come.

Meh, He wasnt anything special IMO, then again, i didnt see much of him, so I cant really comment.

And I think He is in the squad now, he is in the "first team pics" on the official site.

We are conceding some ridiculous goals at the moment.

Our defence should be our strongest position with the players that we have but it's not happening for us. We really need to cut out the stupid mistakes quickly.

True and very similar to last year.

Our defensive cover for the coming season isn't great either. If Philly Byrne or Alan Mc Dermott get injured there is no one else to replace them. As one of the lads said we aren't a side of giants.

Alan Byrne can fill in there, plus the u21s have some decent defenders.

As for pre-season - some shocking goals were conceded. Lets hope things improve in the defence department.

Defence was one of the big issues for County last season the other was our home form. Things improved with the signing of Mc Dermott but it looked like it was back to the old ways in the pre-season games. Thank god I didn't make UCD.
