Lots of rolls of turf behind the goals last Sat so pitch might be laid in time maybe?

i heard that the fixture is reversed were playin away in jackman park first game, the rolls of turf are there a while they laid some already if your on the pitch youll see where, mainly the north end they probably wont lay the south side and goal areas till the stand is complete, whenever the rest of it arrives

It was posted by a reliable source on our forum, (old keeper) we've no reason to doubt him, however things can change so we gotta wait and see.

We're down in Waterford that night!
If it was moved to Saturday, there would be a big City crowd at that game!
I'd love to go!

Ya correct. Fri 9th March at the cross v Limerick 37 7.45pm. Cmon the Rams....

ramblers

It may not happen according to reports they have a problem with the floodlights in the RSC so the city game may have to be played at the x if the lights are not fixed.

This means the Rams game may not go ahead.

Rambler1
04/03/2007, 10:29 AM
Surely that will be fixed in a week unless its a major problem....Waterford wont want to pospone a match that size unless it doesnt suit them to play City in the first game of the season.

Seemingly quiet a big job.

The ground under the floodlight has caved in. Not as simple as replacing a bulb I guess.

Game had to be played at the cross as it's the only ground in the area with one of those licences they hand out
