As a Bohs fan I am unaware what the average admission fee is for clubs in the first division. Could a few fans of 1st divison clubs please help out our Shelbourne fans in this matter.

http://forum.shelbournefc.ie/chat/viewtopic.php?t=8000

If I didn't know better I'd think a few of them expect to pay less into their games in 1st division next year. (Assuming they have a team of course)

Personally I think it would be right decison because its not as if they need the money, :D

Minimum admission fee, as stated by the League (afaik),
to Division 1 games is €10

I think Athlone Town will charge €15 this season (unconfirmed)
Previous seasons it was €10

Well a few years ago after moving to Dublin for work I was walking past Dalyer one Friday night & saw the floodlights on so went in for a look. Since then just kept on going. Actually played against a few of the Wexford youths panel. Have to get onto our board to arrange a friendly their next season

(Granted if I had walked in as a 1st timer last season to watch the crap served up by the spoofer there is now way I would have come back cheap beer or no cheap beer)

And we were worried about our increase from €13 to €15 this season. Mad how other clubs have been getting away with it for so long. Although, if UCD can charge €15 then I guess anyone can! They'll probably up the price now that we'll me watching them in a rugby ground...

Is it more or does €15 not sound a bit steep for Division 1 football ?

I know they charge crazy prices at all levels in England - but that doesn't make it right there either...!

I didn't realise the FAI mandated minimum charges for games either ! What's that all about - surely if a club wanted to charge less they should have the right to do so ?

As far as I know the min adults charge for D1 is €10 and Premier is €15.

€15 is steep for some of the muck played in Division 1 :o

At least with The Town this year you can get a season ticket for €75 *

(* Discounted season ticket if you sponsor a seat in the new stadium for €200)

I was in the San Siro for a Serie A game - excellent seats, great view, right beside the Milan fans - EUR14.
The most inexpensive ticket I could buy to see Shamrock Rovers in Division 1 last season was: EUR15. And that was a season behind as well.
It made me think!

Is there really a minimum? Is that coming in this year. We were 13euro last year but going up to 15 this year

True, but as part of our new cost saving inititives we are going to have a go without players this season:D Would still fancy our chances against Rovers in the Cup:p

But they're not and he's not...

Bit of a comedown for Crawford seeing as he turned the top job down. With Gary browne resigning, who know now...

my gripe is about away fans, as we offer you student rates in Dalyer (and we all know how dear it is on the train as well), but I would have thought there is a huge student market in Cork to be tapped into.
Doesn't one of your players (Lally I think) go to ITC?

Thought your promotions officer would have looked at this as your crowds were well down last season!

True but last year we had cheaper adult prices than the majority of clubs including Bohs so ye gained from that

Yeah he does. It was tries last year for the Setanta cup and didnt work. Didnt impact crowds and caused hassle with people complaining cos they didnt have i.ds etc so it was scrapped. I dont think it would make a big enough difference in crowds to cover the revenue lost from the large amount of student fans we have at the moment.

Im not saying I agree with it but i dont have a problem with it either. Im a student myself but am happy to give the club the extra few euro

No plans to raise the prices this season and you will be back in Belfield Park this year. Besides it's what's happening on the field you pay in to watch......
