The first game of the season (v Sligo Rovers) is going to be an all-ticket game. Ticket will be on sale from Terryland and Zhivago music stores.

Except for those of us bought a season ticket!

tickets will more than likely be onsale in the showgrounds the week before the game. think ye'r getting 400/500 tickets

The first three home games are ALL Ticket Sligo,Drogheda and Pats which is on Good Friday.The same security operation that took place at the Rovers and Dundalk games will mean that the travelling fans will be segregated and 400 tickets will be the max forwarded to their club.

how do we always get a home game on good friday, pure luck as it virtually gurantees a large attendance!

I'd imagine Sligo will take more than 400 tickets. They are a massive club.

Was on Galway Bay FM that tickets are on sale now and that it is expected to be a sell out.
What is the situation with season ticket sales - How many have been sold at this stage?

512 not counting Bronze,Silver or Gold. The initial response has petered out.

It seems to be lifting again, I sold two yesterday and am due to pick up some
more today.

Season ticket forms will be available at :

Tonights table quiz in Becketts
Black and White Ball in the Radisson
Merchandise stands on Friday/Saturday
Game vs Athlone Town in T'land
Lotto draw in the Square Inn on Sunday night

or by pming me, and calling Ronan at (087) 6972823.

Target was 1,000. We will be doing well to reach that, hopefully we will get to the 750 anyway.

Season tickets will be available at each table at the B&W ball.

Hopefully between stands, match, ball etc, we will be up to 550 by Monday.

Match tickets will be on sale at the merchandise stands over the weekend
and also at the friendly against Athlone Town in Terryland Park.

There were 15 sold by GUST at the weekends merchandise
stands and at the game vs Athlone.

I know that tickets were widely circulated at the ball, hopefully more
were sold there.

This is out of the hands of Galway United FC. We have sent tickets to Sligo Rovers FC. The distribution of tickets is entirely up to Sligo.

I met the GUFC promotions officer as he was about to post them. They were sent by registered post to Sligo Rovers c/o of a POBox number in Sligo town.

Sligo's Allocation was sent to the Showgrounds.If you buy one in Galway you will be directed into the Sligo Section by the Stewards.

I dont really know Terry the big worry would be that people will just arrive up on the night and we could have huge queues hence the reason for putting tickets on sale so early in the week.Id expect at least 2,500 plus on friday weather permitting.

There will be a limited amount on sale at Terryland tonight.Over 2000 gone already.

Not sure but i just heard on GBFM that a limited number of tickets will be on sale at the ground if you get up early. Have Sligo sold out their allocation yet?

Bought 2 tickets for mates about an hour ago in Zhivago, there were a few ahead of me buying tickets too...
