Jimmy Fyffe - Looked a bit hesitant at times but discovered afterwards that he's playing with an injury. If Mike Heath hadn't thrown his rattle out of the pram he'd doubtless be back in at the moment. - 6/10
Oran Welderick - Played out of position at right-back but did reasonably well. As committed and hard-working as ever. Sometimes seemed to charge out with the ball with a quick release would have been seemed a better option. 7/10 (but I hope he's not wasted there in future)
Eoin Poill - Had a bit of an up and down game. Started well and stuck to his guns throughout though concentration seemed to lapse the odd time. 6/10
Paul Finucane - One horrible error early on aside, Finucane was back at something approaching his best. - 7/10
Pat Purcell - Solid and reliable throughout. Did everything that could be asked of him. - 8/10
Shane o'Donoghue - Had his best game in a while but still didn't ofer enough going forward and very little defensively. Needs to give up running at defenders and just concentrate on getting his cross in. - 6/10
CiarĂ¡n Foley - Continued his fine run of form with a gritty, determined performance at both ends of the pitch. Hard to fathom why he was pulled off. - 7/10
John Whyte - Solid in the first half, totally dominant in the second, Whyte was a collosus at strength throughout. This performance surely shows he can't be played at left-full again. - 8/10
Brendan Hughes - No less than Whyte was impressive throughout as Limerick bossed midfield for the first time in far too long. - 7/10
Stephen O'Flynn - Showed his full box of tricks and highlighted exactly what we'll be missing if the rumours are true and 'Stevo' is off to pastures new next season. Scored the goal too.- 8/10
Barry Ryan - Nobody can fault Barry Ryan's performance yesterday. He worked and chased and challenged for everything and it was inevitable that he would run out of steam somewhat towards the end. - 7/10
SUBS
Colm Heffernan - looked very good indeed when he came on, even on the left side. Showed plenty of pace and guile and will be in line for a starting place soon. - 7/10
Anton Mannerring - Burst a gut when he came on and never stopped running. Hit the bar late on. - 7/10

What are you insinuating about Ciaran Foley? He was pulle off?

... that I think it was a strange substitution. Folet was adding a lot more to our game than O'Donoghue on the opposite side and I can't understand how Shane stayed on the field of play for 90 minutes...
