UCD's Clubhouse, cunningly disguised as a hotel for the past 4 decades, i.e. The Jury's Montrose Hotel has been sold to Superquinn. They intend building apartments and installing a supermarket on the site. Won't leave much room for a hotel then will it?

The Doyle Tara is the obvious choice (went there after the InterToto game when the Montrose was being redeveloped), but it's a bit far away, especially from the Bowl. The Sports Bar is gone, the SU Bar is crap. Does that jus tleave somewhere out in Clonskeagh?

I assume Lonegan's, being part of the Montrose, is part of the deal?
