So who's going to be the next big thing at your club ?

We have a fairly decent U21 set up at the club with a string f really good young players coming through. James O'Shea for me will be one of the best young players in the league this season, if his football education grows at the right level he can be as good as Kevin Doyle IMO

Ronan Finn at UCD. He's a small midfielder with sharp ball control, good passing and vision and a great engine. He was already begining to establish himself in the team last season.

Chris Kingsbury is one who might be very good. Looks like Bohs have signed him.

Conor Powell should also feature a lot more as well and I think he'll be a very good player as well.

Pats have two U18 internationals playing with our under 17 side at the moment, Noel Haverty and Derek Foran. Both have been signed on senior contracts. Foran has impressed in a few pre-season outings. Foran is centre half/full back while Haverty is a midfielder in the Roy Keane mould. Can also play in defence and played the 2nd half of the Ireland/Holland game at centre back.

Seamus Coleman will be definitely one to watch for you lads.

For us, keep an eye out for a lad called Keith Cowan. No contest in that he's our one to watch

GUFC just signed Shane Tarcy from Arsenal. He played for the reserves last season there and still at the age of 18 looks to be a very good prospect. see www.galwayunitedfc.ie for more details.

Cathal Lordan hopefully. Was surprised he didn't break into the team last year.

Sean Kelly ex-Arsenal played i think right midfield for the U21s but thought to be successor to Alan Bennet at centre back by some. If anyone going to make the breakthrough will more than likely be in defence with 3 first team players to replace.

As all our fist team are experienced enough, i reckon Eugene Ferry our u-21 keeper will be one to look out for if he ever gets a chance

He impressed playing on the wing against Rovers the other night. Isn't as good when he is moved inside though.
