according to the star there is a promise the release the fixtures within 24 hours of the shels hearing result...so hopefully before the weekend

the dream is

1st game..shams at home
2nd game...galway away
3rd game...ucd at home
4th game bohs away

unlikely but it would be nice!

its gonaa be something like last seasons fixtures reversed because the FAI are too ****ing lazy. we got Shams 2005 fixtures last season just reversed. so if this is the case this year we'll have bray home first and drogs away second. our last game of season will be longford at home. cant wait for bohs away!! :D :D

cant wait for bohs away!! :D :D

gonna be like cup final every time. Hopefully there'll be massive Rovers support in Dalyer! We should be aiming to outnumber the Bohs fans. Need some good chants for Seanie too!

indeed...and bohs' crowds will go up by about 100% this year probably!

i really wonder what it will be like...the away game it will just be abusing sean for 90 mins..booing their players...and if we win[which i really cant see happening!] then ....well more abusing sean!i hope nothing stupid happens..im guessing there will be a lot of new people trying to get on the supporters bus for that game...perhaps a prior booking scheme may be in order!

the home game....dont know what the main stand brigade will be like....they didnt like him when he was our manager so he will probably get less abuse:p

it will be incredibly over hyped and its just another game....

Apparently our first 3/4 home fixtures will be on a Sunday afternoon as the flood lights won't be re-erected for some time yet. Also the new turnstiles etc are well behind schedule. Hate watching game's on a Sunday afternoon,Saturday night is the only time for football in the Showgrounds.

It is a valid question!

Regardless, I am looking forward to the seasons start, and attending at least 4 or 5 matches.

feo, you're right.I know it's all well me commenting whilst living in this dump, but the difference that can be made by a few amateur volunteers is immense (helped out the local rugby team in the Summer), it wasn't intensive or anything, just a few people.Scrubbed up well.

what condition is the pitch in?

saw it on sunday, seems bumpy and slightly overgrown, but hopefully thatll be all sorted in the coming weeks. if not im sure Mr.Fenlon and friends will be commenting on it soon enough if its in the same state as it was at times last year!

Wouldn't mind helping the club out with stuff if it was all arranged and a group got together.

was there yesterday and thought the pitch was looking very good! cut the grass and looks level enough! not sure how anyone can train on the training pitch.....its literally a swamp at the minute, there on it at least twice a day so cant really complain?! dont really use the omni grass too often i dont think!
