eL Related Book Plan

Well - the old saying goes that "Everyone has at least one book inside them" - and I'm toying with actually writing and publishing such a book.

It's going to be published on Lulu.com - that's a given - as it doesn't cost anything to upload a book to it to be printed and published.

It's going to take as a subject - the 2007 eL season (mainly from Bohemians perspective - but focusing on the League in General as well) - part travelogue / part diary style - cataloging the games themselves, and all the stuff that goes on around it.

So this place may feature heavily in it.

Réiteoir, honestly, drop the whole idea now while you still can, before you get started.

I did the same thing a few years back and it turned into the bane of my life - 102,000 words of pure hell. At least I had the Intertoto and all the Dolan-out fun to liven it up, but you could have a totally humdrum mid-table season and the damn thing would still be sat there nagging at you to add another chapter.

"I Wanna Be In That Number" still hasn't seen the light of day and until certain people die, thus relieving me of any libel worries, it probably never will.

Good idea. But maybe do it as a blog. That way, you will get reaction and ideas.
You can still put it together in a book... with a picture of Geena Davis in a Bohs jersey on it.
You will also be in a position of unassailable power, able to moderate, i.e. edit out, anything you don't like. Just like Dahamasta ;)

I do anyway. Its called The History of the Russian Revolution and is written by Leon Trotsky. I devoured it. Giving me terrible indigestion though, its a bloody big book.
