"To create a poll when you post a new thread, simply click the 'Yes! post a poll' checkbox at the bottom of the page, and set the number of possible responses you want to include."

Where the hell is this box? Please help because I'm going mad...

Only moderators can post polls. I'll post it for you if you want.

Would you? Actually I remember somebody telling me to try and become moderator for the Limerick part of the site. is that possible?

Anyway, the poll was just gonna ask who has been Limerick's best player this season. I dunno how many alternatives you can give but I think the contenders would be:

Jimmy Fyffe
Paul Finucane
Pat Purcell
Oran Welderick
John Whyte
Stephen O'Flynn
Ciaran Foley
Brendan Hughes

Much appreciated Schumi, us studetns should stick together against the *shudder* workers!

Do you want it here or in the Limerick section?

Limerick section if you please. Thanks again. And if you could delete my 'player of the season' style post that would be great too!

All done.

And if you could delete my 'player of the season' style post that would be great too! I can't do that unfortunately, I can only mess around with posts in the UCD forum. You can delete it yourself anyway. Click on edit at the bottom of the post and there's an option to delete it.

So you can make your first €10 million by the time you're 25, build a new stadium for Limerick and sign the Real Madrid midfield.

... on one of my bands making it and then I'll buy the club, build a stadium that I'll name after my girlfriend, change the club colours to green and be one of those nosy chairmen that go through managers like Deadly Doug Ellis. Deadly Dar... I can see it now!

Why change the colours to green? Surely the Limerick soccer colours have always been blue.

Cork City changed their colours to red a few years back because the directors thought that red was more identified with Cork(due to GAA) but thankfully they changed it back this year to green as that's always been the traditional colours of Cork soccer teams.

Tradition isn't everything but I'd be very slow to change a teams colours.
Pumpkin Pie anyone?

Limerick started in Sunderland style red & white stripes and played in yellow apparently during the 80's at one point? And the difference between Cork adapting to the GAA colours is that we have sod all fans at the moment anyway so we needn't really worry about wearing them. If Limerick want to appeal to the whole city than changing the colours would be an ideal step forward. We are wearing a green away kit this year which is something.
