Petrol Stations strike Italy

Anyone get caught out by this? Was driving back thursday morning to Austria with bearly the steam of my p**s left in the tank. Not one petrol station open was waiting in the car park using my no Italian to translate the signs that the stations where closed untill 10pm that night. Then a German trucker gave us a half a tank which got us to Udine then paradise, an open petrol station. took us 9 hours to get back should have been 5 great way to finish off a c**p 2 days.:mad:

Maybe John Delaney had fears that Maxi would reappear and he tipped the police off and they closed all the petrol stations with a blanket ban.

ye filled the tank to the brim on tuesday on the way down from venice and it just got us back on thursday
