I will start it off.

Best case scenario: 0-4 to Ireland

Worst Case Scenario: 1-0 San marino

My Forecase: 0-2 Ireland.

I think this is going to be a lot closer that most people predict. Ireland have a terrible team out once again. If its a draw or SM win then Staunton will be out of a job by the end of the week.

6-0. San Marino players unfit after Christmas.

I'll go for 0-7 because Shane Long will go for the kill every time and Stokes will be brought on to up the ante.
Watch out for Hunt making an appearance and bagging a goal himself. Robbie Keane might trouble himself to chip in with an assist, somewhere along the way. He's certain to dive in the box at least once.

I reckon 4-0 Ireland also ..maybe 5-0.
0-1 to San Man is unthinkable

reckon 3-0 to us is as good as it will get even against this team of jokers.

4 nil to us. Nothing spectacular whatsoever

4-0 too, a functional performance, nothing else really. Fancy Long for the first goal. Hunt to get the last.

pauro where you watching the match?

0-4

I'd love to see us finish the match with 3 strikers on the pitch, including Long and Stokes.

It could be a long night. If the pitch is dodgy and San Marino put everybody behind the ball (as expected), it'll be a hard, mundane slog. I'd say 3-0 - a penalty, a deflection and a tap-in. Another Faeroe Islands job. It won't be pretty.

One of the worst Irish teams I've seen in a long time...still good enough to hammer Dan Marino though

9 - 0

I'm going with another 5-0, Long, Ireland and Dunne all to score.

1 for Shane Long

san marino to score a goal
Ireland to hammer them...then put in the usual half hearted headless performance against the welsh....

We rarely give the sort of hidings some countries do so I'm guessing probably Ireland 4 Santa Marino 0.

Predict a horrible type match with us eventually winning 3 to 4 nil.

5-0, Harte, Long and Hunt(with the cameo appearance) to score. Would also love to see Stokes come off the bench and show how clinical he is and bag one too... Wouldn't be at all surprised if its something like 3-0 though...

It's gonna be at least 5-0, but hopefully we might pull a couple back.

Realist 4-0
Pessimist 2-0
Optimist 6-0

And I bet if it's 2-0 Kilbane and O'Shea score the goals to cement places in team for all eternity.

0-4

I'd love to see us truly hammer a weak team like these guys 8 or 9 nil for the pure novelty value... but we never turn the screw on them.

I expect to see half a dozen glimpses of admirable professionalism interspersed with about 75 minutes of sh1t football.

Incidently -reports this morning described the actual pitch as being of a remarkable high standard.

2-0 in a slog.

We're just not very good. Carlsley will utterly stomp all over the midfield but I don't think with wingers like Kilbane playing it will really matter.

Maybe Duff will actually show up?

Philly, San Marino are playing an astro league team then by the looks of it.

Staunton is to coaching, what San Marino are to attacking. Worst coach I've ever seen, against the worst side in European football.

If it stays 0-0, and it may do given how we're playing, we'll share our fate with Turkey who could only manage a 0-0 draw there in England's WC qualifying group in 1993. Nobody else has managed it since, afaik.

Don't be ridiculous, we've got full time professionals against a rag-tag team of part-timers. That would never happen.

So nobody got the right score then. The bookmakers clean up.

Wayne Henderson would not make some div 1 teams in the EL.
Robbie Keane and Kilbane are the worst 2 Irish players EVER.
