Anyone see Prince at the SuperBowl Halftime show last night. Great performance probably the best of the half time shows in a long time, not that would be hard. They guy is a musical genius and I dont like to use that world lightly.

Dont think Prince would mind as he did do an album cover naked.

All changed since he changed religion.

Reminded me of a bit from a Chris Rock show:

Remember all those arguments about who was better - Prince or Michael Jackson? Prince WON! :D

I'm raging now I didn't stay up to watch the show. Just couldn't be arsed watching all the football and ads.

Yeah, it was a great show he put on, but he could have done without those two sperm-belching gutter sluts that kept getting in his way:D .

Bst H-T show in quite a while...certanly a big improvement on the Timberlake/Jackson and Sting/Stefani abominations from a few years ago

The GAA should try and do somthing like that at HT of the all Ireland ! or even the FAI for the FAI cup final.

No, no they shouldn't.

The Superbowl halftime show is occasionally very good. This is an event with more money than you can shake a stick at thrown into it and carte blanche to pick any performer in the world yet it's only occasionally good.

The All Ireland finals and FAI Cup final, while notable events to us, are somewhat smaller in scale. We'd probably have to be happy with Davy Arthur and the most recent winner of You're a Star. Not to mention the fact that the "spectacle" element (as in all the crap going on aside from the singing) would look sooooo cheap because it would be soooo cheap.
