PRESS RELEASE

23rd October 2002


The following suspensions were issued by the Disciplinary Commission
at their meeting on Wednesday 23rd October 2002 and will take effect from
Wednesday 6th November 2002.


Stuart Taylor (Drogheda United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive game
and fined € 50 as a result of being sent off v Longford Town (11.10.02)
- suspension already served

Kevin Hunt (Bohemian FC) suspended for ONE (1) competitive game
and fined € 25 as a result of reaching five (5) penalty points

Alan Reynolds (Cork City) suspended for ONE (1) competitive game
and fined € 25 as a result of reaching five (5) penalty points

Kevin O'Brien (Waterford United) suspended for ONE (1) competitive game
and fined € 25 as a result of reaching five (5) penalty points

Philip Gorman (Kildare County) suspended for ONE (1) competitive game
and fined € 25 as a result of reaching five (5) penalty points

Trevor Vaughan (Monaghan United) suspended for TWO (2) competitive games
and fined € 40 as a result of reaching eleven (11) penalty points

Stephen O'Flynn (Limerick) suspended for ONE (1) competitive game
and fined € 25 as a result of reaching eight (8) penalty points

Declan Reilly (Mayo League) suspended for ONE (1) competitive game
and fined € 15 as a result of reaching five (5) penalty points



All the above suspensions will take effect from Wednesday 6th November 2002

Jason Kabia (Cobh Ramblers) suspended for ONE (1) competitive game
and fined € 25 as a result of reaching five (5) penalty points

Dave Hill (Cobh Ramblers) suspended for ONE (1) competitive game
and fined € 25 as a result of reaching five (5) penalty points

The following suspensions were issued by the Disciplinary Commission
at their meeting on Wednesday 20th November 2002 and unless otherwise
stated will take effect from Wednesday 4th December 2002.


Tony Bird (St Patrick's Athletic) suspended for TWO (2) further games as a result of being sent off
v Cork City (04.11.02). He has already served a one match suspension in this case

Barry Ferguson (Longford Town) suspended ONE (1) further game as a result of being sent off
v UCD (01.11.02). He has already served a one match suspension in this case.

as a result of reaching five (5) penalty points

and fined € 100 following consideration of the referee's report on the game with Derry City (07.11.02)

Aaron Callaghan (Longford Town Coach) suspended from the Technical Area for THREE (3) MONTHS
from 20th November 2002 and fined € 250 following consideration of the referee's reports on the games
v UCD (26.10.02) and St Patrick's Athletic (09.11.02)
