Does anyone recall if local lad Colin Hawkins ever played against Galway United in Terryland? I have no recollection of him ever gracing our soil despite a long career in the Eircom League.
It didn't help that we spent most of the last few years in the First Division. :mad:

PLayed for Pats in Terryland in Cup in about 1998 or 1999. Galway won 1-0

He played in the league game yrs ago in the Premier when Galway beat Pats to stay up with a Billy Clery winner
wasnt he suspended for that match?

nearly sure he played in this match. i remember some lads beside me singing:
"we all agree that cleary is better than hawkins!!" :D :D
Played in the 1-0 Cup win (Eric got the goal) as stated above.

ya there's a big piece on today's Sentinel about him signing an 18 month contract for Coventry 10 years after they lettin him go.

Yup. He totally played in that game. He went to Doncaster after that. I think.
Nah he stayed for another year or so. Joined us in 1997 and left in summer 2000
