There is an article with Alan Murphy in the Mayo News this week where he says that he will still be working as well as playing. In the next 4 weeks he will be training twice a day and fitting in meetings and appointments around this.
I would expect a fully professional squad to rest as much as possible between games and training sessions to get the full benefit from professionalism. What he is doing could lead to burnout rather than preparation for a long season
Is anyone aware of any other players who will continue to work on a regular basis
