Good stuff.

Hear we have a new main sponsor, and another sponsor for the back of the kit!

Nice to see things continue to improve off the field, hopefully on-field matters will follow suite.

Who the new main sponsor?
Is Celbridge Football Park gone or will county still train there. I hope they stay there as I often walk out there and watched them train.

I'm sure they'll stay there, as the owner of Celbridge Football Park is our chairman.

As for the sponsors, wait for an announcement!! :)

I believe that there is a new sponsor as well, which is great news for the club as it shows that the commercial community in the county are taking them more seriously. I also believe that an announcement on seating is imminent. Should be an interesting few weeks leading up to the new season.;)

Can't wait, this sounds like interesting and great news, and exciting times ahead, fair play to all involved!.:)

I notice Swifts has a sponsorship link on the Kildare County site today as well .

Just to add to the Swifts link on the site, there is Declan Long&Co, Honda!,Kfm Radio, Conway Keane Auctioneers and AP Haslam. I wonder if the Honda sponsorship is a corporate thing or is it a car dealership?

Honda were added after they joined up to the commercial sponsorship project last year, as did twenty other companies I think. Don't know if it is a dealership or not.

The new sponsorship is important. The Celbridge Football Park is owned by our chairman, so it's sponsorship of us hardly showed that we are able to attract backing from the business community. Having two totally unaffiliated parties sponsor us is great news.

As for the seating, sounds exciting.

New main sponsor deal concluded

The directors of Kildare County are delighted to announce that the club has reached agreement with a Newbridge based Restaurant, bar and Nite Club in relation to a major sponsorship deal.

Swifts will take over as main sponsor from Celbridge Football Park, which has sponsored the club since 2002 and whose owner Pat O’Hanlon is Chairman of County.

Swifts director Kieran Gallagher said that “Swifts were delighted be involved with the Thoroughbreds and to lend their support to the club”. Mr Gallagher continued “we look forward to working with the directors and all involved with Kildare County to the benefit of all”

Michael Casey welcoming the Swift’s sponsorship on behalf of the board “said that the club was not only delighted with the financial support provided by the new main sponsor but also the fact that a well known local business was prepared to back the club. He continued “the club looks forward to working with Swifts on various mutual ticketing schemes and other advertising initiatives during the season”.

Pat O’Hanlon and his family were thanked for their unstinting support over the past five years as major sponsor and they were also thanked for the continued use of their impressive training facilities at Celbridge Football Park.

Following on announcement of the new main sponsorship deal with Swifts and the new three year kit sponsor deal with Umbro, County are also pleased to welcome Judge Site Clearance of Robertstown as the new shirt back sponsor. The club is most grateful to Kevin Judge and his company for their continued valued support.
