Well more than a few of us have believed he should go for a considerable period of time, but I think defeat on friday would make his position untenable. Come 89 mins on friday, if we´re losing I´d expect the "Murphy Out" chants to ring loud across the ground.

I don't see him leaving until the end of the season at the earliest. But maybe after speaking to the fans tonight, he might realise that more than the "minority" want him out.

I agree with niamh. I can't see him quitting before the end of the season.

Who would replace him anyway, Patsy? I doubt if the club have someone lined up.

Hopefully nice Brian will have a quiet word with Liam after the last game of the season and send him on his way and the search for a replacement can begin.

The meeting tonight is not on that topic.

The meeting tonight is to ask fans where they see their club/league in five years time.

It has nothing to do with anyones views on the management of our club.

The meeting will be chaired and that is the topic of debate, I for one hope it doesn't end up in a free for all and have us looking like a laughing stock infront of the media.

Please ..... anyone that is intent on causing trouble, do us all a favour and stay at home. You fight amoung yourselves at home but not at the meeting.

I agree face. There are other issues to be discussed, but this is the first oportunity the fans have to confront a manager who has insulted them and then hidden without having the guts to confront his accusers. I think the issue of murphys management is certainly one to be raised tonight, but it should not hijack the whole meeting.

There´s been some sites saying he has "reportedly" pulled out. some rumours that he had definitely pulled out, and other rumours that he´s definitely going. I dunno whats going to happen- guess we´ll have to wait and see. But if I had to put money on it, I´d say he won´t turn up. I hope I´m wrong.

Good. I´m glad he´s turning up. Now he could really make my day by unveiling his masterplan for winning the league, and tell us that he´s just been fooling around all season to give the other teams a false sense of security :)

Probably not, but, that won't stop him or the club for that matter barefacing it until the end of the season. I reckon it could be a really big call for Lennox if he intends to walk-the-walk like he can talk-the-talk.

Murphy Out Now!!!
