JOHN DELANEY GIVES 100% COMMITMENT TO FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT IN MONAGHANMonaghan United’s Chairman Jim McGlone was delighted at the response by FAI CEO John Delaney upon his examination of the plans for the developments at Century Homes Park. Mr Delaney & the FAI delegation were at Monaghan United to have a look at the ongoing improvements being made at the stadium and also to inspect the plans for the Regional Development Centre which is to be built in Monaghan over the next 3 years. Mr Delaney stated that the plans were very much in keeping with his visions for the future of football and that the development would encourage more children to take up the sport in the future.

Jim McGlone was encouraged by the support offered by the FAI. “The fact that John Delaney & his colleagues were unanimous in their approval of the plans for Century Homes Park and their commitment to ensure that the development goes ahead, is a further sign of the FAI’s continuing commitment to football in the Monaghan area.”
