That would be John Gaffney,some goal and don't be surprised if he scores one like if for Abbey today,he's got some strike on him...from any distance

Yeah,played for Glenview Stars for half of last season then moved to Abbey and still playing with them now. Did he play for UCD in the league at any stage?

Played one game I think - Pete Mahon's first game in charge. Also played a League Cup tie in 2004. Thought he was a handy player, to be honest, but the club mustn't have agreed.

Knew he played in the league cup alright but just wasn't sure about the league. I think he might have been in talks with us when he left ye but i'm not certain of that,didn't sign anyways

Just checked my stats database there - 1 league start in 2003 (subbed after 73 minutes), two League Cup starts in 2004 (subbed off in one). Nothing else.

he played friendly for us v arrow harps in 2005 and mustn't have impressed that evil b*stard who used to manage us even though he scored.

hes reading thres only one red army atm and hes in nostalgic mood
