Sorry Jason Byrne that is.
I'll go buy the local rag over here and check...
They could badly do with him, useless strikers, no dept in the squad

He's training with them for a week.
Were you at the Spurs game SÓC? Good day out.

Flight from Cork delayed due to bloody Bristol airport mess:mad:, missed it, didnt have a ticket though so presume it sold out?
There is talk that Cardiff are trying to off load Cambell too so maybe there is a space for Byrne already. He'd easily get games regularly from what I've seen of them.
Cardiff are still browned off with themselves for not going after Doyle. They watched him before anyone else got interested and decided he wasnt good enough:eek:

Had a Bristol airport nightmare ourselves but made the game. Totally sold out but we managed to get 10 of us sorted. Amazing atmosphere.
Think Byrne would definitely do a job for Cardiff, Campbell's a joke at this stage but he's "great in the dressing room" apparently.
Didn't know that about Doyle. D'oh!

Can anyone confirm this? Where is Byrne off to?
Top scorer in the league how many years?

It's in the paper here, and a lot of people have mentioned it to me, so it must be fairly certain.

Shels really have been a basket case case study on how not to do things. Is there anyway someone could document this and highlight where it went wrong? All clubs should be made aware of this, there have been mistakes made here the clubs HAVE TO learn from.

On that note, Cardiff fans seem to be happy at the thought of only having to pay around 300,000 stg for him....imagine when they find out he'll probably leave for free

You have to ask though .... do the licensing committee have the bottle and staying power to ensure this doesn't happen again? That just has to be reform here.
Serious questions have to be asked of the powers that be after this catastrophe.

600K a few months ago might have helped Shels not losing the other players for nothing, but yeah ... its not as bad as 30k for Ryan.

ie Ollie allegedly paid "favoured" players or those with a transfer value whilst giving the rest the runaround.

Oh I know the answer to this one. Other clubs should avoid making Oliie Byrne their Chairman.

Will Byrne want to stay this time though ?

If Oily has turned down an offer of €450k for Byrne and I was a Shels supporter I'd be pretty ****ed off right now.

Cardiff have plenty of money now, a new board has just being appointed giving the manager something like 11million stg.So they have plenty of money

Yes, but they surely know the state of Shels finances, so I'd imagine they'll play pretty hard ball. I'd be surprised if they offered 450K, and certainly can't imagine them going above that.
Good news for Bray if a deal is done too, or will that be the issue again?
