Crowe did OK last night - given that it was a weakened sidse and the fact that no-one in midfiled could be arsed to get up and help him and Doc in the second half.

I wonder will he ever get another chance?

And while I'm at it, why didn't Givens give a few of the lads a run out? Would love to have seen Wesley or Richie told to get out there and drop a few grenades.

What was Givens playing at? It was surely a night for a little adventure?

Givens Out!

Crowe did well, in my opinion. He got very little of the ball unfortunately, but he did have our two best chances in the first half.

He also was able to hold on to the ball, not fall over, and then give it to someone in a green shirt (or shoot at goal) which most of the other muppets on the field last night couldn't do.

He deserves at least to be in the next squad, even if all the regulars are fully fit,

Well done Glen!:)

I thought he did well to even get a shot off for both chances.

I think playing someone like Doherty doesn't offer too many options at international level as you want a forward there to take a chance should he get it - i doubt doherty would have even connected with the ball had he got Crowes chances.

Given seemed to be overly concerned with getting a result & pity Quinn, Partridge & Houlihan didn't get at least a 10min run out at the end.

Won't have endeared with the club managers either - all the players should have got a run at some stage.

Thats true. Having said that, the number of switches Mick made in recent friendlies was laughable. Did he make 13 changes against Croatia? If lads aren't going to be given at least 45 mins, what's the point!
