The Bohemians squad is set to travel to Barcelona for an 8 day pre-season training camp in February.
Seán Connor's new look outfit will play a Spanish second division side in a friendly game before returning to Dublin.
The Bohs manager said "We will have so many new players and coaching staff that this will be a great opportunity for everyone to get to know eachother."

Its actually closer to 48m but hey whats the difference, *(unless you are Shelbroke FC & need every penny you can get!)
*This statement should not be taken as 100% fact if a Mr. Oliver Byrne reads this as I do not wish to have before-mentioned Mr. Byrne take me to court over any interent post which may or may not be true. (But we all know really is) Ha!

Of what interest is this to anyone but Bohs fans?
Do the teams that participate in Europe not get a grant from the FAI to do this, Derry were in Portugal last year and played FC Lagos(?) and beat them 3 or 4-0.
FFS lads, there's two posts on this thread wondering why its here, if you don't think it should be here either report it or say nothing...

Hopefully it will be a good team bonding exercise especially with a few new faces in the squad. Wonder who the 2nd Division side is, some good teams in the Segunda

I heard something similar to this, that the FAI pay for the champions to go on a training camp abroad!

Wasting money as usual. Would a six seater not be enough?
