Raf signing for Sligo

A thread on the best Footie books ever has a contribution from a Sligo supporter (1928) who has an alleged quote from Raf as his signiture. Have a look and let me know if it's a wind up.

Either way, I'll still wish Raf the best, but I think you'll understand now how I couldn't warm to Eamon Sweeney's book.

He didn't.Raf is way too much of a gentleman to say that.It's funny too that another Sligo fan said Raf apparently didn't want to come back for another year but unfortunately due to personal circumstances had to.Fair enough and i wish him the best of luck also.

Gustavo: Thanks for setting the record straight. As I noted already, Raf will be missed in Galway & best of luck to him back on familiar soil.
