Anyone else think that the appointments of Gavin and Mooney smacks of nepotism in a way in that both are connected to the game here and the appointments should have been proven outsiders?
I've asked here what kind of qualifications Mooney has and some other have posted about the recent PFAI decisions (including moving their offices into the FAI's buildings in abbotstown). I'd have loved to seen outsiders come in with a fresh eye certainly

Jeez remember that alright. Awful stuff though dont think it was on tv just the radio. "Get your tickets at Gortakeegan for the game on sunday" or some such rubbish.
It was a TV ad. Had good footage of Liam Coyle skinning a couple of players alive, and if I'm not mistaken even included picture of a dog on a pitch from Harolds Cross or somewhere...?!?!
I probably have it buried on an old VHS somewhere at home. Will try to have a look at Christmas.

Totally agree. What experience or credentials do they have for their new roles ? Football people shouldn't be given off-the-pitch jobs in football. They rarely, if ever, know what they're doing or succeed. Poor decision.
