Well done to Bray.

This is much more exciting than this promotion based on results lark!

Jeez it would be some laugh if the IAG put Thomas Davis in the premier.

They should have locked all the managers in a room and got the public to vote them off week by week, thus keeping interest going in the close season, and generating publicity for the league. Which among us could say he would not be glued to the TV to see Rico and Fenlon argue over who gets to use the shower next, or watch Sean Connor keeping in with the popular kids each week?

this is like watching the Eurovision results.... a bit... quite exciting though. It'd so less frustrating if we were called Aardvark Town.

Sounds like a Your A Star / X Factor audition - in which Delaney sits on his high horse in a hotel conference room and tells the hopefuls if they have made it or not. I can just picture Brays represenative jumping for joy outside the room shouting 'I love you John' while Finn Harps are giving the usual old Brendan Kilkenny impression!

No, to have a truely "national" league and Teams in it who have potential, support, and a future.

Can't wait to hear to the recriminations and finger pointing from the very irate party who lose out on a "premiership"spot.

Guess this and other fora will be awash with venomous accusations.

No it's not. They obviously scored a lot better in the off the field criteria than yourselves. Wish people would stop moaning. The clubs all agreed to this.

Fox News are reporting that Waterford have won against UCD.

It must be true.

The FAI can now stop counting the points. Fox don't lie.

I don't think it's a farce at all; if UCD stay up and WUFC go down I'll be pretty happy.

Oh dear....If it's at UCD's expense, then it is a disgrace.

I said at the start of this process that if UCD were relegated to bring Galway up it'd be the greatest scandal in the history of Irish football, and I still believe that.

well,i was just listening to galway bay fm there, where they had John Fallon, the galway united chairman on and they were told that gufc came very close to topping the 50% off field activities. so thats the reason we are there, and rightfully so, and anyone who questions the IAG decision should be shot, simple as. the rules were laid out from day one and galway united spent a lot of time and effort making sure we scored as high as possible on the off field activites.

Are we still going on alphabetical order here? Rovers just got announced - that mean Shels next, then Sligo, Pat's (if they're not under Saint), UCD and Waterford?

Any word from Longford? Or indeed the 4pm press conference?
