Having a bit of a laugh watching the football last night and I said that Paul Scholes was probably the greatest ginger haired player of all time and that got me thinking of the greatest XI. This is how far we got and I am sure we are missing a few obvious candidates but sure its just a bit of fun
Leighton
Lalas Mc Leish Gough Riise
Strachan Lennon Bremner J. Johnstone
Scholes
Mo Johnston.

I wouldn't say they were ginger in the traditional sense. Nowhere near the gingerness of Sidwell or Fox for example.

Stephen Quinn (who plays for that other Sheffield team).

I dont think Quinn is better than Strachan or Jinky Jimmy or Sammer or Bremner or Scholes.
Staunton is ginger in my book and therefore should at least be in the squad!
He is a strawberry blond:)
