There is a radio station in Dublin that has a one hour league of Ireland programme every wednesday (8-9pm). Obviously because its a Dublin regional station we cant hear it but its now being broadcast on the net live every wednesday at:-
http://www.newstalk106.ie/
Last night they were talking about the new LOi forums that will be taking place around the country. The one for Cork city fans will be on the 28TH November with the leagues marketing manager (Bernstein?). they also interviewed the former shels and corrk city manager C. Murphy. (apparently he was also manager of Vietnam and Burma and is now i think he said assistant manager with Hull city). They asked him what level the NL would compare to in the english leagues. He said that when he left the top few clubs over here would survive in the third division. He then said that enermous improvements had taken place since then and he expected the improvements to continue. He also mentioned that if he knew what was going to happen to him he wouldn't have left Irish football and was sorry he had.
Sounded like a very good programme and they take questions and comments at 01-6445106 during the show. i'm going to listen to it from now on, anyway.
