Saturdays/Sundays are unavailable at both of the larger city centre centres. We are trying to secure alternative outlets at the moment.

The outer area of the Westside SC is very much exposed to the elements.
It would be ideal for stands in the spring and summer.

You can get the jacket that's it from the tracksuit but we have a wide variety of merchandise for sale.
Productive evening tonight.

i thought you were gonna lay off foot.ie for a while. I dont like the smart comment about insurance re the westside. I am from the other side of town but in case you dont know a powerful amount of united players and fans have came from that area over the years and are probably the biggest contributors to the utd fundraisers over the years. One woman in her 70's a weekly customer of the westside sc sells a book for ronan for 5 years every week has never missed one, multiply that by 20 euro a week and see the contribution she has made. I dont think you do utd supporter any justice or favours with comments like that. a community club means everyone not just those who judge people by their "middleclassness". I think it warrants a public apology.... westside 3pm saturday ...only joking.. but do keep in mind what your saying when you blurt stuff on supporters forums with a utd logo over your name

Conor was only joking, geezer !

Its no harm to poke fun at certain elements in the city and county.

GUFC now have a presence in all areas of the city, with people from Mervue, Shantalla, Knocknacarra, Ballybane, Headford Road, Newcastle selling Lotto tickets and helping out with the merchandise stands.

We have people from Athenry, Loughrea, Kilkerrin and Corrandulla on the Lotto team and we have the buses from Connemara and match tickets on sale in Spiddal.

The supporters representative on the board is living Caherlistrane. There are people living in Oranmore, Skehana, Barna, Canal Road, Dock Street, Salthill, Athenry, Westside on the executive.

A wide mix. Of course the country people do most of the work.

Well done to all the volunteers who helped out on both nights. We will have more stock next Thursday.

The final tally was nearly E1400 alright. In case anyone from the office is reading this, "nearly" = E250 !

on top of yesterdays fantastic takings at the merchandise stand in the galway shopping centre, the team working down there brought in the same again tonight, plus another couple of hundred euros. Well done to all involved and a special thank you to the people of Galway. With a few sales here and there between now and the end of Sunday they will have brought in €6000 this weekend!
