Where do they find some of the kids for this? Every year they manage to find some annoying little kid(s) with an aul mans head on him/her. Drives me mental:mad:.

Awh priceless. Did you see the 2 little dancing queens, one of them was absolutely covered in fake tan and glitter. I mean she couldnt possibly have been more orange with mad curly fuzzy hair. Pat asks who did your hair...she replies "Me ma". What a job she did :D

The worst guy so far was the 5/6 yr old boy going on about the books. Talking as if he was an 80yr man and also dressed in an aul mans shirt.
You're watching it?....:oDon't even try to pretend yer not watching it:p.

Excellent idea. I call a soother anyway but my cousin who is from Sligo calls it a dummy.
Could be the Rice krispy bun saga all over again....

PS I'll go with dummy and definately not pacifier or soother.

PPS I thought it was going to get interesting when the kid lost control of the Junior Segway. Mayhem almost ensued.

As someone who worked/bought for a toy shop, the problem with the late late toy show, is that the toys they show are this years big toys & are not available in toy shops/sold out.

Some of the kids on it were fantastic! Natural and experts with toys. Kenny tried to stifle them with his inability to deviate from his stiff collar, TV protocol.
I also thought it was very touching for them to invite that epileptic kid on, to front that band. Those flashing lights couldn't have helped him though, and I thought someone should have interveined, before he strangled himself on the microphone cord.

Surely the only thing more annoying than an over confident child putting on their billy barry school affectations is an over confident teen who I'm guessing is pubeless singing some variation of 'woman I'm gonna love ya all night long'.

i was half expecting him to choke himself, which would've made horror tv viewing... but then the audio track of him 'singing' would still have played on :D

the funniest had to be the children from 'the knock' singing 'soilent noight'
while playing count the dubes... brilliant! :D

I loved the wee girl with the barbie head (yeah the umpa lumpa one) when the brush got tangled in the hair and she said "her hairs fallin out, she'll be baldy by christmas" God I cracked up.

I apologise (even tho dont know him) for the wee lad with the 'blaaayney accent playing with his traaacthor.

In fairness, you try coming up with a joke on the spur of the moment. And remember the entire Jokes thread is out of bounds as kids are watching!!

One of those strange shows though - must-see TV!

Maz

They opened it with "breaking news", Ann Doyle was going on about unusual sightings...Aliens the likes and went to Charlie Bird who was doing a report and interviewed some old man. Pure rubbish really

Yeah pure rubbish that had my 9 yr old scared sh**less! He actually thought it mite have been sightings of "santa" and then was scared thinking Aliens had landed. He was still talking bout it at the end of the show and I think he dreamt bout Aliens that nite, so rubbish but effective in a futile childs imagination!
