According to the Irish Mirror, Barry Ferguson has been warned as to his future contribution at Longford Town. Ferguson was sent of for the third time this season and was only available after serving a suspension. Matthews believes Ferguson is a vital cog in the Longford machine. He mentions his consistant performances along with his good distribution. However his tangle with a UCD forward earned him a second yellow card and an early shower. Matthews wants him to show restriant when getting involved.

Hopefully Barry will see the light and realise that while his has a considerable talent, its no good on the sidelines...
